Who Is Actually Eligible for PGWP
You may qualify only if all conditions below are met.
Institution Eligibility Is Critical
- Your institution must be a PGWP eligible DLI
- Many private colleges do not qualify

Studying at the wrong institution permanently kills PGWP eligibility.
Program Structure Matters
IRCC reviews:
- Program length
- Full time enrollment history
- Distance learning components
- Breaks in study
Non compliant semesters cause refusal.
Graduation Proof Timing Is Strict
You must apply:
- Within 180 days of official completion confirmation
- While holding valid status or restored status
Late or incorrect timing results in refusal.
Compliance History Is Reviewed

Past violations do not disappear at graduation.
PGWP Duration Is Not Guaranteed
Work permit length depends on:

PGWP:
- Does not provide CRS points by itself
